With its Bitterroot Range backdrop, this handcrafted cabin offers a refined rustic retreat en route to Missoula, Glacier, Portland, Seattle, and area hot springs. Local artisans crafted its 30 arches, cedar shiplap walls, blue pine floors, walnut trim and tiled accents. Enjoy the walk-in shower, laundry and fully equipped bunkhouse kitchen with farmhouse sink. Consult terms and conditions: no unregistered guests or visitors not on the reservation, no pets or children < 12. Owner on site. Nature and craftsmanship await!

Surrounded by nature

... with lovely views of the Bitterroot Range and the Clearwater Valley.

Walk or jog the private driveway and nearby country roads, or drive to hot springs, whitewater rafting, the Selway or South Fork for steelhead and salmon fishing, a bison farm or fire lookout.

Sleeps up to 3

A daybed, single size, is on the ground floor. A spiral staircase leads to the loft, with another single bed and an XL Teton camp cot, 85 inches long, for taller guests.

In-person check-in

Owner will familiarize you with the mini-split operation, the on-demand heater, and the sleeping arrangements -- twin bed daybed on ground floor, two Teton cots, regular and extra large, in the loft. For guests arriving after 8 p.m., we'll set up a "virtual" check-in by phone before you arrive.

Entire home

You’ll have the arched cabin to yourself. Owner/builder is onsite steps away if you need anything.

Farm fresh eggs

This rural property sits on a private road with acreage. 12 minutes southeast of Kooskia and its boat launch, grocery store, restaurants and gas stations.

Fully appointed bunkhouse kitchen, with propane cooktop, cutlery, pots and pans, salt and cooking oil. Compact refrigerator and freezer.

Washer and drier

"Tiny house" compact washer and drier in the bathroom.

Wifi

Stay connected while on-the-go with 11 mbps Wifi. Ethernet also available.

Office space

Desktop mini-computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse. Bring log-ins to your streaming services to watch whatever you like.

Mini splits

Heat pump and mini-splits for heating and cooling, as well as a Cadet wall heater in the bathroom and ceiling fans in the loft and on the ground floor.

Book carousel and reading nooks

Enjoy books about Idaho and the Intermountain West in two reading nooks.

Weather permitting, sit outdoors and enjoy a sunset or shifting clouds.
